  1. It is important that Americans vote because the type of government in the United States is a democracy; the people get their own say. If one does not vote, they have no reason to complain about who gets elected since they did not even contribute to the voting. They did not try and voice their opinion. It is important that Americans follow politics because they will be able to make educated decisions; if they did not know which political platforms certain politicians stood on, for example, how would they be able to make their vote?

  2. As an American your most important responsibility to our government is to vote! When Americans do not they are leaving out their opinion in a country where everyone's opinions count. People who do not vote should not be able to complain about or get mad a who gets elected because they did not participate in the election. American politics is very important because a lot of the decisions the government makes affects or will affect your life.

  3. Why is it important for Americans to vote?

it is important because as a citizen living under the American government, each vote will affect various aspects of one's life.

Why should people who do not vote, not be able to get mad at who is elected?

because by the fact that they did not vote, it means that they do not care enough for politics in the country, or too lazy. thus, they have no right to complain about the elected figure who they did not care for.
