Abortion

1. Are there unsuccessful abortions?

Yes, they are somewhat rare, but they do happen. "However, the infant survived the procedure, carried out on Saturday in the Rossano Calabro hospital, and was left by doctors to die." There are many horror stories off babies being aborted but still alive.

2. How many abortions are there per year in the United States?

There are around 1.3 million abortions per year in the United States. "If current rates continue, it is estimated that 35% of all women of reproductive age in America today will have had an abortion by the time they reach the age of 45."

3. How hard/easy is it to get an abortion?

There are the new morning after pills that can be bought with relative ease. Abortions are relatively easy. Some insurance companies will even pay for a person to have an abortion. The ease depends on the reason of abortion. "The 1967 Abortion Act makes abortion legal if the pregnancy is less than 24 weeks and two doctors agree that the abortion can be carried out."
